Day 0

So, you might have read the small description about the blog. Let me expand on that. I am a 24 year old male that recently graduated college. When compared to most other people my age, my life has been and is quite different. I have lived in 5 different countries, have dual nationalities, divorced and widowed parents and am/was married (still figuring that one out, yikes!) but definetely single.

My main college education was conducted in Mexico alghough I also studied in Spain and Canada. I graduated in December and decided to move to NYC. I have visited NY on a couple of ocations and have simply loved it. I love the noise, different people, millions of shops of all types, sizes and varieties and simply the flow, the constant movement of everything from huge Time Square displays to cars, people and ideas.

So after graduating I took a small trip to Yucatan to visit some ruins and get a chance to see the beach and on Christmas day took a plane to Montreal. I efectively went from sun, sand and hot weather to dark, snow and freezing temperatures in a day. I came to Montreal because I had bought a ticket months before thinking I would be here with my loved one but instead find myself alone in front of a screen.

I will be going from here to NY at the beginning of January. I basically have no money, just found a room to stay in and still don't have a job. Communications/PR/Marketing/Publicity in case somebody is hiring. I do not know how I will manage to eat or go around the city but that's part of the adventure, right? Yeah I know; I'm screwed.

So to sum it up, I thought I would tell you how my new life goes in a new city. What I see as a new comer and hopefully one day I'll look back and remember that time when everything was still a novelty.
